today was beaching day with canny and lindsey.
we woke up early to catch the 0714 bus only to find out there wasn't a 0714 bus. so we headed back to grab some breakfast and caught the 0739 bus instead.
the morning was awfully cold and windy. (well as least for me and canny). we lay on our towels with our readings, got distracted at intervals, waiting for the sun to warm the beach up. oh. canny and lindsey took naps. at bloody 8 in the morning.
we finally saw the sun at 0940 and within 5 mins it got really really hot. so we went down for a little swim and the water was freaking icy.
we decided to leave at 11 and we just HAD to go to the little store across the beach for this superbly yummy ice cream that lindsey and i had the first time we checked out the beach a week back.
if you ever come to aus, or perth or wherever, you HAVE to have this Connosieur icecream.

yesterday was Welcome dinner night.
we had a three course gourmet - salad and rolls, choice of lamb or chicken. and lemon tart.
the tables were set with little candlelights and proper dinnerware and they had pro waiters serving.
we'd been having edible food the past few days. i hope it lasts.
ribeye steak today was such a challenge though.
